Editing user access

An Admin changes a member after the invite from Settings, then Users. Members cannot edit another person's role, projects, or actions.

Open the memberOpen the member

Find them

On the Users tab, use Search members or scroll the list. The row shows their name, email, role, and status.

Click the name

Click the member's name. The edit icon in Actions opens the same panel.

Choose a tab

Profile holds name, email, and status. Permissions holds role, project access, and the action checks.

The panel header shows the avatar, name, email, a role badge, and a status badge. Save is at the top right, next to close.

Required. This is the address the invite was sent to.
Status
Required. Active or Inactive. What Inactive means for an invite that expired is in Managing users.

Under Profile settings, Invitation email shows the latest invite attempt:

Sent
The latest invite shows Sent, with the date and time it went out.
Resend Invitation
Sends the invite again from this panel.
Failed sends
Failed invitations are logged and retried manually.

PermissionsPermissions

Switch to Permissions to change what this member can do.

Role
Pick Admin, Member, or a custom role. Creating a role is in Roles.
Project access
Pick the project whose checks you want to see. One project is shown at a time.
Action checks
View, Create, Edit, and Delete for each module. The modules and the override rule are in Project permissions.

The line under Role and Project access reads: overrides for this member only, and role defaults apply where you do not override them.

SaveSave

Choose Save before you close the panel. The Users row then shows the role and status you saved.

This member only
Checks you change here apply to this person on the project you selected.
Role stays shared
Saving this member does not change the permissions stored on the role.
Other members
Other people with the same role keep their own checks.

To remove the person and everything they created, use the delete icon on the Users row instead of this panel. See Deleting a user.
