User access levels

QAlity uses access levels to control what each user can see and do in the workspace. This protects administrative controls while letting members do day-to-day testing work.

Admin and Member are the two default roles. To create another role and choose its permissions, see Roles. To limit those permissions to specific projects, see Project permissions.

AdminMember

Admin users have full workspace access, including user management and administrative controls.

Admins can:

MemberMember

Member users can do day-to-day testing work but do not have user administration access.

Members can:

Changing a member's roleChanging a member's role

Only an Admin can change another member's role. Admin and Member are the defaults. Other roles are created on the Roles tab, and the actions for a project are set on the member's Permissions tab.

Apply changes carefully so each person has only the access their role needs.
